This combination sanding machine includes a 1 x 42 inch belt sander and an 8 inch PSA disc sander. It is a practical match for bandsaw, scroll saw, and general cutting work, helping users sand right to the line after rough cutting.
A 1/3 HP capacitor-start induction motor delivers steady single-phase power for everyday sanding jobs. The sanding belt runs at 3000 SFPM, while the 8 inch disc runs at 1725 RPM at 60Hz. The machine accepts standard 1 x 42 inch sanding belts and 8 inch PSA sanding discs, making abrasive replacement simple and convenient.
The BTM-200 features cast iron tilting work tables for better control during angled sanding, edge finishing, and contour work. The belt table measures 6 x 7 inches, and the disc table measures 4 x 10 inches. The single knob belt tracking system helps keep the sanding belt aligned during operation.
For cleaner operation, the machine includes two 1-1/2 inch dust ports that can be connected to a suitable dust collection system. The heavy-duty steel construction provides a stable base for benchtop sanding tasks in woodworking, restoration, home improvement, and light metal finishing applications.
