The EB-4816Q is a 48 in magnetic sheet metal brake for sheet metal, HVAC, automotive repair, and shop fabrication work. Instead of a mechanical clamping beam, it uses electromagnetic clamping to hold the workpiece along the beam during bending. Air cylinders do the lifting instead of manual lifting, and a foot pedal keeps both hands free to position the sheet. It has a 16 gauge (1.6 mm) mild steel capacity.

The open-ended layout helps form boxes, pans, enclosed ducts, channels, and longer return bends that are difficult on many side-frame brakes. Choose the correct clamp bar for the bend layout, match material thickness to machine capacity, and follow the duty cycle and thermal cut-out limits during operation.
